Community connection for everyone
MI Care welcomes NDIS participants as part of our broader community.
We provide social activities, friendship, and a safe, inclusive space where people can participate, connect, and belong. As a community organisation, we are not an NDIS provider — our role is to offer mainstream community supports that complement the NDIS.
Membership is encouraged but not required for casual attendance at open activities.
Being a member helps us keep people safe, stay in touch, and maintain a consistent, community‑based environment.
For safety and inclusion, MI Care believes it is best for NDIS participants to attend with their support worker.

Support workers play an important role in ensuring participants are engaged, supervised, and able to enjoy activities fully.
At MI Care, we focus on genuine connection — the kind of community participation the Minister described as missing.

Our volunteers, programs, and welcoming environment help fill that gap by offering real opportunities for social engagement and belonging.
